Since a few weeks ago I’ve had the desire to come closer to the messages of God’s love. With this in mind, I started a journal for prayers and notes on Bible and book reading.
One thing that’s kept me going is the coincidental (or providential…) posts my friend has been sharing. She also started Bible journaling, but informally through social media. So I decided to share with you what inspires me: my friend, Jessica, has agreed to being my guest on this blog!
Here is her first post. Be blessed!
A L I V I N G Sacrifice, Part 1
Starting a New Week, I had to set apart some time this morning to remind myself of my divine purpose before being rushed back into the mundane duties and demands of this earthly secular life.
My inspiration came from Romans 12:1-2 which, after I heard it in the sermon yesterday, has tugged at my heart and mind since.
“1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a LIVING SACRIFICE, holy and pleasing to God— this is your true and proper worship.
2 DO NOT CONFORM to the pattern of this world, but
BE T R A N S F O R M E D
by the renewing of your MIND.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is— his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Stay tuned for the next post, as we delve into how we can become
A L I V I N G SACRIFICE.
